556, 766 voters registered in 3 weeks

The Independent Electoral Commission has announced the registration of 180, 674 more Gambian voters. This brings the overall number of registered voters to 556, 766 of which 317, 993 are females while 238, 773 are males after 3 weeks of the exercise.

The registration per region is as follows: Banjul – 13, 503 of which 7, 125 are females while 6, 378 are males, Kanifing – 120, 898 of which 65, 963 are females while 54, 935 are males, Brikama – 194, 451 of which 110, 943 are females while 83, 508 are males, Kerewan – 63, 258 of which 35,776 are females while 27, 482 are males, Mansakonko – 27, 196 of which 14, 701 are females while 12, 495 are males, Janjanbureh – 68, 649 of which 40, 345 are females while 28, 295 are males and Basse – 68, 820 of which 43, 140 are females while 25, 680 are males. Meanwhile, out of the 556, 766 registered voters, 317, 993 are females while 238, 773 are males.
