720, 394 voters registered after 4 weeks

The Independent Electoral Commission yesterday revealed that a total of 720, 394 voters have been registered after one month of the general exercise.

Election House said 411,319 of them are females and 309,075 are males.

However, statistics show the number of registrations for week 4 has declined to 163, 628 compared to 180, 674 of the previous week.

The registration per region is as follows: Banjul – 16,967, of which 8, 950 are females and 8, 017 males; Kanifing 151,545 of which 83, 599 are females and 67,946 males; 257, Brikama 257, 718 of which 146,917 are female while 110, 801 are male, Kerewan 77,655 of which 43,382 are females while 34, 273 males, Mansakonko 38, 052 of which 20, 914 are females while 17, 138 are males, Janjanbureh 88, 345 of which 51, 514 are female while 36, 821 are males, Basse 90, 112 of which 65, 033 are females while 34, 079 are male.
