The vice president Muhammed Jallow will lead a high-powered delegation to Dakar to attend the first edition of The Gambia Day organised by the High Commission in Senegal starting Thursday.
The event aims to promote The Gambia in Senegal by showcasing the Gambian culture, trade and investment in Senegal as well as promote people-people relations between the two countries .The event will be a two-day programme starting Thursday when an economic, trade and investment forum and an exhibition fair between The Gambia and Senegal will take place while the following day Friday 27 Oct, a cultural gala dinner will be held with speeches by top government officials from both countries as well as entertainment by artists from both countries.
The event will be graced by government officials, entrepreneurs and distinguished personalities from both countries as well as the diplomatic community. Businessmen and entrepreneurs are invited to attend or partner the event and they could contact 7750073.
