The public relations officer of the Gambia Moral Congress Diaspora has written to the party’s leadership and members, following what he described as a ‘gracious welcome’ accorded to him upon his visit to the country.
Below is his full letter:
“Thank you so much for the wonderful and gracious reception done in welcoming me back home upon my arrival. The welcoming was indeed a splendid and befitting one. My profound and sincere gratitude extends to the entire GMC party members whom I won’t neglect in thanking.
My special appreciation goes to the head of GMC, Honorable MAi Ahmed Fatty, for giving support to the fans club for my welcoming and special treatment at his residence, with his wife Madam Ndey Fatty, with Tida Kijera for the vibrant mobilization she has been conspicuously doing in The Gambia. I am indeed indebted, having seen such an epic and tremendous entourage that accompanied me from the airport to our humble MAi Ahmed Fatty’s residence.
I won’t do justice if don’t compliment the dynamic efforts of the executives, ML Fatty and Ousman Baldeh, the ambassador of GMC party working co-operatively with the fans club for the magnificent welcoming. The moments were certainly remarkable and unforgettable.
It was certainly a moment of peace and happiness having Honorable MAi Ahmed Fatty as a minister of interior and I am sure he is the right and capable person to handle the position. I urge the people, with great zeal to stick to GMC party because I believe MAi Ahmed Fatty can handle the nation effectively and efficiently. With great optimism, I believe that The Gambia will in GMC party’s custody by the Almighty.
Words aren’t enough to articulate my heartfelt gratitude but I earnestly pray that almighty God rewards you handsomely. This is just the genesis of something great. Once again, as it is renownedly said in the locals, abaraka, jerejeff, Jarama. Long live, GMC party.
