The opposition APRC has been given the all-clear to resume their tour of the country beginning today Thursday.
The tour could not proceed after police placed ban on all political activities following an incident in Busumbala involving rival supporters of the APRC and UDP.
However according to party national mobiliser Yankuba Colley, everything is in order for the tour to resume today. He urged APRC supporters to attend the rallies in a peaceful manner. The tour party will depart from Fabakary Tombong Jatta’s house at 4pm and will visit Pirang, while on Friday they will visit Brikama to be followed by Lamin on Sunday. The tour will continue throughout the week and ends on 2 Friday March at the Talinding Bantaba.
