Boro Kanda Kasse diaspora community donates ambulance to boost service delivery

The community of Boro Kanda Kasse in Wuli East has commended BKK Diaspora Community after it donated them with an ambulance to boost service delivery in the area. The commnunity said the gesture would boost referrals to Baja Kunda and Basse major health centres. Alh Mawdo Garry, chairman of the Village Development Committee, applauded the donors in his remarks druring the presentation organised in Boro Kanda Kasse village in the Wuli East district of the Upper River Region. He thanked them for the foresight. He said the support will ”greatly” help the people of Boro Kanda Kasse and surrounding villages. A community elder Alh Ansumumana Danso, commended the donors for complementing the government’s efforts in promoting healthcare service delivery. He said previous donations have enabled them to consolidate gains regestered. Ousman Juwara, speaking on behalf of the donors, called on the community to take good care of the ambulance. Kissima Garry, a youth’s leader, said the ambulance would ease women and children’s mobility. According to the youth’s leader, the donated ambulance would alleviate the suffering of women as it will escort patients to health facilities. Alh Saiba Juwara, the alkalo of the village, also thanked the donors. The presentation was attended by a cross section of the community and its three satellite villages in Wuli East district.]]>
