Brufut United led the haulage of the maiden GFF monthy awards taking two awards in different categories, according to the Gambia Football Federation’s newly introduced monthly award to recognise and motivate individual performances of players and coaches and in its leagues. Brufut United’s young coach Ebrima Bojang bagged the second division’s coach of the month award while his player Alhagie Camara is player of the month from second division. Gamtel coach Sulayman Kuyateh is the first division coach of the month. The full list of the award is reproduced here:

Men’s First Division Coach of the Month

Men’s First Division Player of the Month
Abdoulie Sarr – Banjul United FC

Men’s Second Division Player of the Month
Alagie Camara – Brufut United FC

The GFF awards panel received recommendations from the Coaches’ and Players’ Associations respectively on the performance of the nominees and all recommendations are approved and endorsed by the panel.
Each winner will receive a cash prize, a certificate of achievement and a bottle of celebration drink, which will be presented at their next match.
The nominees and winners for the Women’s Leagues will be announced in due course.
