BYSA president Basirou Bajo said Africell’s intervention has helped boost sports in Brikama as a whole adding, “as we complete another season under our partnership, we want to put on record that the relationship has impacted very positively on our programmes and the general sports development efforts in Brikama.”
Brikama is perhaps one of the biggest and most organised sports zone in The Gambia with regular football and other sports competitions that are growing year after year.
On such example is the volleyball which is heading to the finals on Sunday at the Box-bar in both male and female categories. “This is another event that is also sponsored by Africell and we are very appreciative of their cooperation which helping to motivate and inspire young volleyball players too.” Bajo said.
