According to the particulars of offences on 29 July between 10am and 11am while at Darsilami Sagnajor in Foni Kansala District, the two men jointly conspired to commit an offence; jointly disobeyed the lawful order of the president of The Gambia by refusing to perform Eid-ul-Fitr prayers on 28 July as announced by Gambia Radio and Television Services and performed it on Jul 29th 2014 thereby committing an offence.
Leading the prosecution, Chief Inspector Touray informed the court that they were not opposed to granting bail to the accused persons which was accorded in the sum of D50,000 each.
Defended by lawyer Lamin Mboge, Hydara and Touray are due in court Monday 18 July.
