According to a release from the organisers, such meetings are organised quarterly to ensure that proper planning, monitoring and evaluation are observed in the 2015-19 strategic plan of the ministry.
That strategic plan, according to the release, now has a new focus which is to deliver the promised mission to the youths. These include building the legal and regulatory structure and capacity for increased and sustained funding of sports infrastructure and sports excellence as well as create an environment to enhance youth employability.
The meeting beginning at 8.am, will be opened by Minister Alieu Jammeh and will hear presentations on Dopp’s structural framework among others.
