FIFA Secretary General due tomorrow

The secretary general of Fifa Madame Fatma Samba Diouf Samoura is expected in Banjul tomorrow Friday, impeccable sources told The Standard.
She is the most senior Fifa official to visit the Gambia in recent times. According to our sources Madame Samoura will be flying in from Senegal her native country to visit Gambian football and sports officials.
Our source further hinted that the Fifa top official may be received by President Barrow at State House.
Madame Samoura’s visit also comes at a time of a brewing crises between the GFF and the Sports Council, the government’s regulatory arm for sports. The Standard could not however confirm if any of that issue will be raised during her visit or whether there may be any mediation role for her in the matter.
