The draw for the West African Football Union Wafu Zone A has been conducted in Monrovia, Liberia. The Gambia has been placed in Group B alongside Mali, Senegal and Guinea Conakry. Group A features host Liberia, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau and Sierra Leone.
Unlike the previous event that was played on knock out basis this tourney will see all teams play their group opponents for a place in the semifinals.
The tournament kicks off on April 24 to May 7 and will be competed by the Under 20 teams from many countries.
