Gambian duo of Modou Jallow and Musa Njie have won the 2017 Seychelles FA Cup with Northern Dynamo who secured a 2-1 victory over league winners St Louis.
The match, played at the 10,000-capacity Stade Linité in Victoria on Saturday afternoon, was attended by a very large crowd who witnessed the final of the FA Cup, also known as the Airtel Cup.

Dynamo took the lead early on before their Gambian striker Musa Njie rounded the keeper to extend their lead amid a cacophony of cheers from the Mahé island supporters.
Njie was voted the Airtel brand ambassador which is equivalent to the Best Player of the competition and he received his prize from Airtel boss Amadou Dina after the match.

Figo Jallow, a Scorpion international and Njie, both joined the Seychelles outfit in 2015 from local side Real de Banjul.
Northern Dynamo’s Cup triumph now earns them a place in the qualifiers of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.
