The people of Pallang village in Niani District, Central River Region North, got supported by their own United Democratic Party National Assembly Member for Niani Constituency, the Honorable Alhagi S.B Sillah with safe drinking water.

“For two months now, we have been fetching water from our neighbouring village, Pallang Mandinka,” says Mamudou Bah, Alkalo of Pallang Torro village.
Speaking to journalists recently at his village during the repairing of the local pump with new parts bought by the Hon. Sillah himself towards supporting them with clean drinking water, Alkalo Bah thanked him for helping them with new parts to fix their local pump.

“This pump is now a new one, because all the parts are new,” he said.
“Before, he (the Hon. Sillah) became a National Assembly Member, he has been supporting local initiatives.
“It’s because of his good will gesture in the constituency the people of Niani voted for him and we’re praying for his success, long-life, good health and wealth.”

Mrs. Kumba Saidybah hailed the Hon. Sillah for the kind gesture, saying he is someone who cares about his people.
”He is always with his people and visiting places to find out their problems and help solving them.”
