Gambia sends team for MRI test

Since next month’s Wafu Under-12 championship will also serve as the qualifiers for the African Under 17 championship in Zambia 2019, Caf has instructed that every player in the competition must under go an MRI test to determine their true age.
The Gambia has accordingly taken up the challenge with the GFF announcing that its team has left for Dakar, Senegal over the weekend for the test.
The GFF thus has finalised arrangements for the conduct of the MRI test on its Baby Scorpions to be held in Dakar over the weekend, a statement from the Federation’s Facebook page said yesterday.
