The Gambia will take part in this year’s African Nations Cup for Amputees (CANAF 2021), starting from November 26 to December 5, in Tanzania.
The Gambian national team has been drawn in Group C alongside Liberia, Cameroon and Ethiopia.
CANAF is a biennial competition for African amputee footballers aimed at expanding the visibility and rights of people with disabilities.
The Gambian team is on intensive training at the Sukuta football field to prepare for the tourney. The team would be happy with any support from institutions and private individuals.
