After exhausting all legal remedies in CAF without success, The Gambia Football Federation GFF has gone ahead to file a case before the Court of Arbitration for Sports, CAS. According to our sources the GFF is asking CAS to put aside the decision of the Caf appeal committee which dismissed The Gambia’s appeal against an earlier ruling by Caf, confirming that Togo player James Ulufade Adewale is eligible to play for Togo . The GFF, which hired a foreign legal firm to push its case, is still adamant that the player is not eligible. He replayed in the Nations’ Cup qualifier on October 12 in Togo, which ended one all.
