The course is designed to introduce new entrants to coaching which is expected to benefit players they will eventually coach or are coaching. The GFF President Lamin Kaba Bajo told the participants and instructors that the program for technicians is a core value in the strategic vision of the GFF.

Bajo added that any program that deals with capacity building is always given priority at the GFF. President Bajo thanked the Coaches Association for the change of baton from one leadership to another. Bajo a keen enthusiast of female football used the occasion to challenge the Coaches Association to increase the inclusion of females in future trainings.

He said he is looking forward to the staging of a C License too.
In apparent reference to the upcoming elections, President Bajo gave a very candid advice to the technicians. “Stay away from football politics and concentrate on your domains ‘in order to survive the different political regimes.”he said.
