GFF warns against false attestations

Press release

The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) is aware that some unscrupulous people are issuing fake recommendations and attestation letters to some Gambian foreign based players, which letters are purported to have emanated from the Federation.

The GFF wishes to express its shock and dismay that these scandalous attestations and fake recommendations did not officially emanate from the Football House and that the facts are not authentic because the affected players have never even been invited to the Senior National Team of The Gambia.
The GFF is not taking the matter lightly and an investigative panel will soon be set up to probe into the issue to get to the root of the matter. We would like to assure our members and the general public that no stone will be left unturned to ensure that the culprits face the consequences of their actions so as to deter a future occurrence.
