The Gambia Revenue Authority has collected over eight hundred million dalasis within a single month, in January of this year.
This was disclosed by President Adama Barrow while delivering his state of the nation address Thursday.
The president described the GRA collection in January as a significant achievement for the Government of The Gambia.
President Barrow urged Gambians to keep on the momentum and do better for the development of the country.
Reacting to President Barrow’s remarks, the Commissioner General of GRA, Yankuba Darboe expressed delight and appreciation.
He said the President’s recognition means the Authority is doing a good job.
