A new FM radio station, Home Digital Radio has joined the radio fraternity over the weekend. It is broadcasting on 99.9 MHz on the FM band.
Home Digital FM is owned by a renowned Gambian journalist, Pa Modou Bojang. Mr Bojang is also the anchor of a popular Mengbe Kering show on social media. Pa Modou Bojang has worked previously for the defunct Daily Observer, The Point Newspaper, just to name few.

Mr Bojang told The Standard that his radio has joined the media fraternity in the country as a partner in media development. “We are not here to compete any media house, but to complement their efforts,” Mr Bojang emphasised. He further said Home Digital FM, which is the home of Mengbe Kering is here to change the face of broadcasting, while promoting citizen journalism in the country.
