Awa Gassama
Aspiring diplomat
At just 22 years old, Awa Gassama already has a burning desire for diplomacy and has set herself on the path.
After graduating at Nusrat Senior Secondary School in 2013, Awa studied sales and marketing whiles she briefly involved in acting.
Awa is currently doing a diploma in international relations and politics pursing an advance diploma.
“Most of the educated people that are working for the betterment of the Gambia passed through international relations and are currently making waves in the foreign sector. I believe I have the potential as well to become a diplomat. I will love to represent my country on diplomatic missions.”
Awa’s role model is Alpha JP Khan, who made her realize her potential. She works at the Daily Observer.
