The Minister of Information and Communication Infrastructure, Mr Sheriff Bojang, on Friday February 6 married, Mrs Fatou Jagne, the daughter of Mr Baboucarr Jagne and Mrs Awa Demba of Bakau. The wedding “fatiha”, which took place at Jagne Kunda Community Mosque in Lamin, was conducted by the chief Imam of the mosque who prayed for the success of the marriage. He also urged the couple to live according to Islamic tenets for a prosperous marriage life. Dignitaries at the wedding include the Vice President Dr Ajaratou Isatou Njie-Saidy’s delegation led by Alpha Khan, Cabinet Ministers, Mr Amadou Samba’s delegation, Yankuba Colley, mayor of the Kanifing Municipality, civil servants, national assembly members, paramount chief, Salifu Jaiteh, Abdoulie Bax Touray, Almami Taal, Pa Kalifa Sanyang, friends and family as well as a cross-section of other well-wishers representing both the private and public sectors. The entire Standard family wish the couple a blessed and wonderful union.
