Introducing (Oumie Jobe)

I am 22 years and a resident of Serekunda. I graduated from Kotu Senior Secondary School. I am currently working as an intern at the Daily Observer reporting on legal issues and sports. I have always wanted to be a journalist since my school days and I believe I have what   it takes to be a journalist.

I find it a very interesting field of work because I have an opportunity to contribute in disseminating relevant information to the masses. I was educated by my grandmother Mrs. Awa Jobe, a retired senior teacher who doubles as my role model. I take it upon myself as a challenge to do new things every day so that I can learn many things. I believe as a journalist I can contribute to society. I dislike dishonest people. I like being with friends and having fun. My favourite colour is pink and my lifestyle is anchored on simplicity.
