Judiciary support staff trained on communication skills

By Tabora Bojang The judiciary in partnership with ICB Solutions organised a two-day capacity building training for judicial secretaries and typists on transactional and organisational communication skills. The training held at a local hotel in Kololi, targets 46 participants from both the superior and lower courts of The Gambia. It was designed to improve the communication skills of the court secretaries and typists who manage the day-to-day inflow of legal documents in enhancing their service delivery. Speaking at the event, Isatou Conateh the CEO of ICB Solutions said the training would help the court support staff in efficiently carrying out their roles and responsibilities. She emphasised the important role the court support staff play in the effective dispensation of justice . Justice Bah, the president of the Gambia Court of Appeal, urged the participants to make the best of the training and use the knowledge gained to deliver improved services within and outside the court premises.]]>
