Judo executive gets nod from international federation

The International Judo Federation (IJF) has officially congratulated Gambia Judo Association on its recently concluded elective congress. The new executive is led by Timothy Colley.

In its congratulatory letter, the IJF assured the Gambian association of its full support and cooperation. Judo has been very active on the international scene with Faye Njie, the toss of Gambian Judo doing well.

Currently, the GJA is preparing for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022, the Islamic Games, the Junior Olympics, the African Games and the summer Olympic games in France in 2024.
