KitAid in collaboration with Omar Jatta of Gam football fans website on Saturday presented jerseys, football boots and balls to schools in Berengding Upper Basic and Essau Lower Basic schools in Lower Nuimi District. The presentation was presided over by George Gomez, KitAID Gambia Coordinator who informed the gathering that the gesture was in fulfillment of a promise he made to forward donated jerseys to the two finalists of the Super Nawettan in this case Sukuta and BEM.

Present at the presentation were teachers from the both schools, the Local MP Mustapha Jeng, the Alkalo of Essau and the District Chief. Mr Omar Jatta acknowledged by pledging to donate the footballs to the teams as well. In acknowledging the gifts, a senior teacher thanked KitAid for what he called a priceless gift. He said football jerseys are not easy to come by and this presentation will motivate the students in the area to be more serious in sports particularly football. The MP thanked Mr Gomez for the gesture and expressed hope that this will not be the last time such a presentation is made to schools in the area.

From Essau, the team went to Albreda where a big gathering was waiting for a presentation of Sportswear, jerseys, football boots and balls to the Juffureh Albreda Youth Association, JAYS, team (the Jays team is the combined team of Juffreh and Albreda).
