The public relations officer of KMC Fatoumatta Sillah has resigned from her position, reliable sources informed The Standard.
Though no reason has been advanced for her decision to quit, our source said it may have to do with her dissatisfaction with a decision to transfer her to the Bakoteh Fish Market.
Contacted for comment, Ms Sillah told The Standard she doesn’t want to comment on the issue, saying “I just want to have a personal time.”
Pressed to give reasons for her resignation, she added: “I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag. Maybe if the council speaks on the matter, then I will but for now I don’t want to say anything.”
