They are up against Gambian champions Real de Banjul in the first leg of the preliminary round of the African club champion league, slated for Saturday.
However no one still knows where the return leg will be played after Caf said it cannot be played in Liberia, to protect the Gambian delegation and other international match officials from the risk of catching Ebola.
Over the weekend, The Gambia lifted direct flights to and from Ebola stricken nations including Liberia meaning that Gambians can travel there. But since there have not been any changes to the Caf advise, it is not likely that Read de Banjul will go to Liberia.
‘In any case we have offered to host BYC here for their return leg too, but we have not got a response on that,” Real official Bakary Jammeh said Saturday.
