Sulayman Camara, a 30-year-old man and a native of Dobo village in the Sami District of the Central River Region (CRR) is said to have committed suicide, The Standard has been told yesterday.
According to sources, the man put a rope in his pocket in the early hours of Wednesday morning and told his wife that he was going to the bush.
“Unfortunately he was nowhere to be found only people to notice that he has hanged himself from a tree in the bush,” our source said.
The deceased, identified as one Sulayman Camara, was said to have been suffering from mental illness for a while, thus many believe it could have triggered the suicide.
The Public Relations Officer could not be reached for comments.
