One Mbosse Ndiaye, a former managing director of Mega Bank Limited, has filed a lawsuit against his former employer as well as the Central Bank of The Gambia for breach of contract and statutory duty.
The matter was heard yesterday before Justice Mboob at the Mile-7 High Court annex.

According to the statement of claims, the 1st defendant Mega Bank unlawfully terminated the plaintiff’s services.
The plaintiff is claiming a total sum of one million fifty-three thousand one hundred and seventy-eight dalasis, D1,053,178, and other provisions from the defendants, being damages for breach of contract and statutory duty.
