Speaking in an exclusive interview at the Independence Stadium just after watching that final, the minister said the normalisation committee has accomplished a great task by attracting and securing sponsorship.
He observed that sponsorship is critically difficult in Gambian football but the NC have taken upon the challenge and successfully negotiated a deal that has helped built hope and a good atmosphere for the growth of the game.
He added that from this first achievement, the NC would continue to run football effectively until the 15th September exit date as stipulated by Fifa.
