Nigeria sends 6 experts to start UTG school of dentist

The Nigeria Government has deployed yet another set of volunteers to the University of The Gambia as part of decades long technical assistance proramme existing between the two countries.

This latest batch of volunteers who are mostly dentists and consultants are in The Gambia to help establish a school of dentists at the UTG.
The six experts were formally handed over to the UTG at a brief ceremony at the Nigeria High Commission on Bertil Harding Highway recently. The director of programmes at the directorate of Technical Aid Corps of Nigeria, Mr Lawal Bappah did the handing over on behalf of Nigeria Government while the director of African Affairs of the Gambia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Omar Baldeh represented the Gambian Government together with The VC, UTG, the Deputy VC and the Registrar.
