The National People’s Party, NPP, yesterday received 16000 facemasks and 80 drums of hand sanitisers from one of its top diaspora supporters, Musu Drammeh based in New York. The donated facemasks and hand sanitisers were handed to the party by Saibo Tunkara at a ceremony held at the NPP National Bureau in Churchill’s Town. The items were received by the party’s 2nd deputy national president, Demba Sabally. The party’s administrative secretary Mambanyick Njie said the facemasks have come at “a very good time” as the party’s youth wing prepares to stage its maiden rally on Friday. “We appreciate the donation and assure the donor that the donated items will be used for their purpose,” he said.
