Alieu B Njie, the NRP candidate for Bundungka Kunda, has said that the National Reconciliation Party is the right party to unite a seemingly divided Gambia.

“NRP is a progressive party and the future of Gambian politics with the way it’s moving forward. In Bundung everyone knows who Alieu Njie is and I have devoted all my life for Bundung. I have so many plans for Bundung but first I want to reunite Bundung because it’s divided through politics and tribalism. We need to eradicate this in our society.

“Bundung needs infrastructure development. The roads are bad. They are not accessible and it’s the largest town in the municipality but lacks development for the past three decades. The only market is at Jola Kunda.

“As a resident of Bundung, I understand what my people feel and what they need. Big towns within the municipality need to be autonomous to gain access to the tax money they are paying through projects because 50% of tax should come back to the community. This can be achieved if we are well represented at the National Assembly.
