Officials of The Gambia Police Force are seeking help from the general public to identify an accident victim who is in critical condition at the Serekunda General Hospital.
Around midnight on Friday 8 December, a young girl was knocked down by a vehicle at around Atlas Petrol Station in Kotu.
The unidentified victim was rushed to the Serekunda General Hospital where she is receiving medical attention at the Intensive Care Unit. She is in coma and police need help to identify her so as to notify her family. Meanwhile the driver of the vehicle that hit her is in police custody.
Anyone who recognizes the victim is kindly urged to report to the nearest police station or call the Police PRO on 9968885 or 3462508.
