PPP urges Gambians to re-elect Barrow

By Amadou Jadama

The leader of the People’s Progressive Party has said that his party will not change President Adama Barrow for anybody.

Addressing his supporters at a meeting in Giborokuta Thursday, Kebba Jallow called on the youths to rally behind Barrow who he said has brought hope for the country.

According to the PPP leader, President Barrow has worked very hard to address the needs and aspirations of Gambians since coming to power. “The president has been able to achieve a lot within this short time and we have no doubt that when given the chance, he would do even more,” the PPP leader said.

Jallow added that President Barrow has done a lot for the PPP including his great respect for Sir Dawda, OJ, James Gomez, Papa Njie and himself. “I sit with him and discuss all the time,” he said.

He pointed out that PPP has a very good legacy in The Gambia under the leadership of former president Jawara  and  all  must make sure that PPP continues to stand on its feet.
