Professor Kah relieved, goes to higher education

No lectures at UTG until April 6

Meanwhile, protesting students of the University have declared that there would be no lectures at the University of The Gambia until April 6. This decision was met after yesterday’s meeting failed to provide immediate solutions to the demands of the students.  The Standard has confirmed that a committee has been set up to look into the matter. Each of the faculties are required to send two representatives to join in the committee including Mr Momodou Lamin Taru, registrar at the university; the minister for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr Fatou Lamin Faye; Prof Kah; minister for Higher Education, Research Science and Technology, Mr Abubakarr Senghore; and PS Cherno Barry of the same ministry.
