Mikhail Bognadov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation
Overseeing Middle East and Africa, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and other international Muslim organisations will be arriving in Banjul today at the head of a top level delegation from Russia.
The delegation is on a day’s working visit and will hold talks with President Adama Barrow and Foreign Affairs Minister Ousainou Darboe among others.
Mr Bognadov is seasoned diplomat who since October 2014 has been the Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa.
This has the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
He speaks Arabic and English.
