Amie Colley, a former marketing manager of Nema Properties Real Estate, has been arrested in Brikama for allegedly defrauding customers of more than one million dalasi.
The chief executive officer of Nema Properties, Bambo Njie, alleged that the former marketing manager was receiving money on behalf of the company without submitting it to the office and issuing fake receipts.

“I chanced on one of our customers on the highway who informed me that he bought eight plots of land in Manduar and he has already paid D320, 000 to the marketing manager. I decided to report the matter to the Brikama Police Station which subsequently led to her arrest,” Njie said.
He said when Amie’s arrest went viral in the metropolitan town of Brikama, many more customers called and confronted them with claims that they bought land from the company through Amie.
The allegations are being investigated by the police.
