Samaritan gives to gov’t institutions, churches

By Olimatou Coker

An American Samaritan over the weekend supported three government institutions, churches, and a mosque.

Courage Osawe donated items including T-shirts and laptops to the office of the IGP, the prisons services, fire and recure services, Redeemed Church, New Eden Church, Christ Embassy, Celestial Church, Sere Kunda Mosque, and the community of Busumbala.

Courage Osawe said he has been giving out donations for decades  Nigeria and in The Gambia.

“This is something that I love doing naturally, and when I see the joy in people it really makes me happy,” he said.

He said he plans to do more of these donations.

He called on other humanitarians to give support to the needy.

Mr Osawe said among his plans are the opening of a health centre in the country that will deal with kidney and other related health issues.

Bolong Jatta, alkalo of Busumbala village, thanked Mr Osawe for the gesture.

Other speakers were Imam Jobe of Sere Kunda and Emmanuel Omorodion, brother to the donor.
