The grand marabout and Caliph of Sankulay Kunda in the Central River Region has passed away on Monday 10th August 2020.
Alhaji Ebrahim Sillah, commonly known as Karang Ebrahim Sillah, was 70 years old.
He succeeded his brother Alhaji Mba Kasse Sillah in 2016. The grand marabout was said to have brought so much blessings to the people during his reign. He was the last grandson of the late Caliph of Kunting, Karang Saikou Sillah.
He was buried on Monday and a fidaw held on Tuesday.
Karang Ebrahim was also the imam of Sankulay Kunda for over four decades.
