Sierra Leone: Kamara and Bio to go for second round

With 50% of the presidential election result released, from last weeks election SierraLeone’s ruling party’s APC candidate Dr Samura Kamara leads by a whisker with 43.2% followed by Julius Maada Bio of the SLPP with 43.1%. The two men are separated by 1,426 votes. Dr Kandeh Yumkella is third with 6.7% and Samuel Sam-Sumana is on 3.4%. The others share the rest. The electoral commission says results from an undisclosed number of polling stations have been set aside for auditing amid suspicion of ballot-stuffing.
