Unless something changed, former U-20 Coach Omar Sise is likely to replace Sang Ndong as the head coach of the Senior Scorpions national team, The Standard can report.
Sise used to coach the U-20, which is now put under Matarr Mboge.

Sang Ndong, who was appointed on a two-year contract which ends in December is likely to assume the role of Technical Director, replacing Ebrima Manneh, who is currently on leave and is not expected to return.
Sise has had good times as coach of the junior side and many believe he can bring success at the senior level.

The change, according to a reliable source, is likely to take effect in January 2018.
The Gambia will host Algeria in March for the 2019 Afcon qualifiers. The GFF is equally working on friendlies for the team.
