Led by acting President Musa Sise and comprising 2nd VP Uthman Jeng, assistant secretary general Alieu Ceesay and executive member Rohey Bittaye. The SJAG delegation discussed with their counter parts various topics including plans to stage training programmes, joint fundraising activities and award ceremony as well as possible joint delegations to international sporting events.
Musa Sise, acting President of SJAG, thanked the executive of the ANPS for the invitation extended to them and for the warm welcome and reception accorded to his delegation.
According to him, SJAG is a young association in terms of capacity, personnel and finance and as such it is prepared to collaborate with the ANPS for the mutual benefit of both associations.
Mamadou Koume, ANPS president thanked the Gambian delegation for honouring the invitation to attend their function and promise to be present during the award ceremony of the SJAG planned for early next year.. “We are ready to share our experience, expertise and resources with your association,” Koume told the SJAG delegation.
He revealed that there is high sense of respect and unity among the members of his association and urged SJAG to adopt similar behaviour in order to realise their set goals and targets.
Meanwhile, both sides have pledged their commitment to sign a bilateral agreement between the two associations in Banjul during the coming SJAG awards ceremony.
