Stadium hosts charity marathon run Sunday

A marathon run designed to raise funds for disabled people will take place in and round Bakau Sunday. It is organised by the 4everywhere charity organisation, which was established in September 2014 with the aim of complementing government efforts in supporting and providing educational and health materials to the Gambian children and their community.
“To expand our reach, we are organizing a large marathon run to take place few days before on World Diabetes Day, November 11, 2018 at 9:00am.The race will start from the Independence Stadium and through, Bakau, Cape Point, Banjul – Serekunda Highway, Jeswhang, Bertling Harding Highway and ends at the Stadium, ” a statement from the organizers stated.
