The Standard newspaper over the weekend extended apologies to Musa Amul Nyassi of the APRC over a story which quoted him as saying the APRC has got a written permission from the office of the IGP to celebrate July 22 when actually what he had said was they have written a request for permission from the office of the IGP.
The Standard apologized to Hon Nyassi for any inconvenience caused by it.
However The Standard wishes to confirm that Nyassi had made this clear and known to the Police on Thursday morning when he was called there to clarify.
