Gambian winger Muhamed Sumareh scored his sixth goal of the season for third-placed Pahang FA who showed fighting spirit to record a 2-0 win over Melaka United in the Malaysian Super League.
Yamil Romero opened the scoring before Fajara-born Sumareh put the icing on the cake with a strike in the 53rd minute.

Sumareh and his Pahang are twelve points behind leaders Johor Darul Ta’zim with five matches left to spare in the league.
