The UN Women and the New York University Center on International Cooperation (CIC) have appointed the Minister of Justice of The Gambia, Abubacarr M. Tambadou, to serve as a member of the High-Level Working Group on Women’s Access to Justice.
A letter from the CIC conveying this appointment to the Honourable Attorney General, the letter stated: “UN Women and the CIC believe that you would bring a tremendous wealth of experience and expertise to the High-Level Group on Women’s Access to Justice and that you would provide invaluable guidance as we put women’s justice needs at the heart of the 2030 agenda”.
