Teen arrested for burglary

Police in Bundung borehole on Tuesday arrested one Namory Keita, a 19-year-old resident of Nema Wasulung in connection with supected burglary and stealing.
According to police PRO Suprintedent David Kujabi, the case was reported at the Police Station by Zahib Hydara, a Mauritanian who claimed his house was broken into by an unknown person at around 6:00am and the person attacked and stabbed one of his roommates Dhehbi Bellal three times under the right armpit before doing away with 2 phones, a bag containing D1000 and a Mauritanian passport.

PRO Kujabi said Namory was arrested after CID personnel investigated the matter and recoevred the D1000 and passport but found he had already sold the mobile phones.
The CID also found a tablet on Namory which is suspected to be a drug called Ross.

Meanwhile according to the PRO further investigations linked Namory to an earlier reported case of breaking and stealing in the same vicinity to which he confessed to be the perpetrator. There he allegedly stole a TV set and a smart phone which he sold to one Baboucarr Ceesay.
He led the investigators to Ceesay who purchased the TV which was recovered with Ceesay himself being arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.

Namory has been charged on two counts of burglary, two counts of stealing, one count of assault causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a suspected drug.
